“The Aftermath” — Episode 102

Tracy is now a regular member of the cast, and Jack makes it clear that he is the show’s primary focus. Liz and Jenna are both quite agitated with the changes. Liz is angry because Jack has changed the name of the show from “The Girlie Show” to “TGS with Tracy Jordan” without discussing it with her. Jenna is angry because she is now being upstaged by Tracy.

Liz tries to cheer Jenna up by telling her that nobody on the show likes Tracy and that the only reason that he is on the show is because of Jack. Little does she know that Jenna is still wearing her microphone and everyone in the studio has heard the terrible things she said.

Liz goes to apologize to Tracy, explaining to him that she was just trying to cheer Jenna up. She goes on to say some bad things about Jenna and other members of the cast. This time, she unknowingly has done so in front of the camera, and everyone in the studio has heard her again.

The cast is quite unhappy about all of this so Liz and Tracy organize a party aboard Tracy’s yacht. The event goes very well. and everyone is now getting along again. During the party, Lemon discovers that the yacht does not belong to Tracy around the same time that the yacht’s real owner shows up with the police.

Jack makes arrangements to keep the incident out of the papers but agress to let them publish a photo of Jenna passed out on the yacht. Liz argues that Jenna will be furious, but she in fact is delighted.
