Cerie announces her engagement during a gathering for Jenna’s birthday. When asked how long she’s known the guy, Cerie replies “…it will be two months in three weeks”. Liz begins to question her own status as a single woman and whether or not she will be a mother. She speaks with Jenna about this, and Jenna proceeds to tell all of the men in the office that Liz is looking for someone to get her pregnant.

Later that day, Liz sees Cerie in the makeup department getting herself made up. Anna, the makeup artist has her baby at work with her because her sitter is sick that day. She asks Liz to hold the baby for a while, so Liz takes the baby for a stroll around the building. Suddenly she realizes that she is no longer in the building, but is now in her apartment. She compares it to “highway hypnosis”. She hurries back to the office with the baby, and Pete defuses the situation.

During all of this, Jack is being harassed by his mother over the telephone. She calls him repeatedly, with the intention of moving in with him. The situation causes him to exhibit some stress-eating tendencies.

Tracy and Josh begin to hang out, but Tracy quickly grows tired of Josh impersonating him all the time. He demands that Lemon fix the situation, and threatens to go to Donaghy if she does not. Josh tries to avoid getting in trouble by calling Tracy and impersonating Jack, and then calling Jack and impersonating Tracy. It’s not long before he is caught red-handed, and Jack and Tracy have their revenge.
